Bixby International Welcomes New Controller John Pigott

Bixby International is pleased to welcome John Pigott who was recently hired as the company's new Controller. John is based at Bixby's headquarters in Newburyport, MA, and he reports to President and CEO, Dan Rocconi.

In his new role, John is responsible for reporting all financial and operational accounting and provides all department managers with operational financial information. As Controller, John manages all of the company's accounting functions - corporate accounts payable and accounts receivable, and general ledger.

Previously, John was Controller at KLEENLine Corp. and he also held accounting and controller positions at FoodState Inc., IQMS, and Hypertronics Corp., prior to joining KLEENLine.

"The executive team and I are very happy to welcome John Pigott to Bixby International," said Dan Rocconi, President, and CEO. "John's expertise in accounting and financial reporting, combined with the exceptional spirit of teamwork that he brings to his role make him a great addition to the company. I'm confident that John will continue to lead Bixby's accounting operations with accuracy and a meticulous attention to detail."

Going forward, John's team will deliver timely and accurate operational financial statements and, when necessary, will update Bixby's budget to the forecast and identify causes related to falling short of or exceeding forecasts. John said his new role presents him with "exciting challenges".

"I've got my work cut out for me but I'm part of this very talented Bixby team and this was a key factor that led me to accept the job when it was offered to me," John said. "When I went through the interview process, every person I met with - in human resources, operations, sales, manufacturing - they all talked about the strength of the team here and I knew it was sincere. Knowing this before I came on board was very important to me."

On a personal note, when he's not working, John enjoys spending time with his wife of more than 30 years and the couple's two adult sons. He plays racquetball and enjoys many outdoor activities including hiking and freshwater kayaking.
